Burt Reynolds drops his price

It would appear another warning shot has been fired over the bows of the American high-end property market. Following on from The First Wall Street Bonus Casualty of 2008, it appears another high end property may be joining the bargains available in Florida.
Although, it is probably fair to say this one was substantially over priced in the first place - Burt Reynolds, the actor, has just dropped the asking price on his 12,500 square foot Florida home.
The home in question was originally priced at $15 million and subsequently raised another $900,000 after failing to sell. Generally, I find raising the price in the hopes of making a sale to fail dismally, but I suspect Mr. Reynolds of being an incorrigible optimist.
Mr. Reynolds reportedly paid just $700,000 back in 1980, so it’s a decent profit either way. The real estate agents dealing for the sale are JIC Realty, who deal exclusively in Northern Palm Beach County Real Estate.

Comments on Burt Reynolds drops his price
That is a new tactic I have never seen before…raising the price of a home to sell it. Nice. For anyone who is looking at more affordable property in Florida I have used a site called property maps. It matches up the MLS with Google Maps to make it easy to find and view homes. I have really liked it.
