Growing popularity of Madambakkam area in Chennai

A number of people are moving from the current abodes in the Chennai metropolis to the southern suburban areas. This is mainly due to their search for unpolluted, clean air, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Moreover the land is much cheaper in the suburbs.

One sought after place in the suburbs is around five kilometers from Tambaram, the area is known as Madambakkam. This area is much in demand by real estate hunters, as it is far from the city congestion, yet relatively close to transport hubs.

The last few years have seen Madambakkam change to a large extent. Today, the land in this area costs anything from 1.5 lakhs to 25 lakhs, and these rates are for the areas which are in the interior. But the land in the prime locations of Madambakkam is much higher and expensive.

The different localities of Madambakkam include Yeshwant Nagar, Sudharsan Nagar, East End Padmavathy Nagar. People from these areas cited that the main reason that attracted them to buy land in these areas, was its price. Additionally, its easy connectivity was a big bonus. Today however its a completely different story. The land here is extremely high, as it is in so much of demand. Rental accommodation is also high in this area.

Madambakkam is highly preferred by many today, is its quite ambiance, well connected transportation network and its water supply. Another great aspect of this town is that urbanization has not hindered any of its old charm. The place has also retained vast open reserves of land, amongst residential properties, thus giving people plenty of opportunity to spend time in the outdoors.
