Pop diva Kylie Miinogue has been hit by the economic downturn just like the rest of us - that's a comforting feeling - I think? Kylie has had her French Island getaway on the market since February: originally priced at $1.2 million  it now has a selling range of $950,000 to $1,050,000.

Realestate.com list the property with following description:

Actually for that price the 50acres and nicelyrenovated property it looks like a good deal.  Almost self-sufficient the property has bore water and rainwater tanks and wind and solar power with a back-up diesel generator. Even if you are not a pop diva the commute is doable as French Island is connected to the Melbourne CBD by a train comute of less than 2 hours - maybe I should take a second look at this one ...
