Key developers in Dubai pull out of Cityscape

Far be it for me to suggest that the amount of lawsuits being leveled at the major property developers in Dubai is the reason for this, but Nakheel, Emaar and Limitless have all pulled out of this years Cityscape Dubai.

Record attendances notwithstanding, the mood at this year’s Dubai Cityscape could best be described as “wary,” and the exhibition failed to lie up to expectations investment-wise. Despite announcements of new developments of epic proportions, this failed to translate into sales.

Singapore 2008 outlook

Singapore, like many property markets around the world , saw a very lackluster performance in the later part of 2007. Colliers International, Singapore has just released a report on the state of the Singaporean property market. This is a quote from the report:

Moscow is now officially the World’s most expensive city. Following a cost-of-living survey done by Mercer, Human Resource Consulting, Moscow topped the list of fifty most expensive cities, closely followed by London. New York city only managed a lowly tenth, largely due to the dollar value.
